Eva Rivas
Eva Rivas (Armenian: Եվա Ռիվաս, Russian: Ева Ривас) born 13 July 1987 in Rostov-on-Don, is a Russian-Armenian singer best known for representing Armenia at the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest with the song Apricot Stone. She finished in 7th place with 141 points.
Eva was born Valeria Alexandrovna Reshetnikova-Tsaturyan in Rostov-on-Don, USSR (now Russia) in 1987. She took the stage name Eva Rivas from her Greek great-grandmother. Between 1996-2004 she performed as a soloist in one of Rostov's most famous ensembles, Aravik, singing both classical and variety songs. In 2003 Eva was signed to 'Image Elite' model agency. In 2005 she was awarded the title of 'Golden Voice of Rostov'. Also that year Eva won the first prize at the 'Armenian Song of the Year' competition.
